A goodbye from Clive and Cyn

Thank you

Dear friends,

Cyn and I want to say an enormous thank you for the wonderful farewell we received last Sunday. We will always remember our worship, the sublime music, and the great party in the Vicarage garden.

We do want to say a very big thank you to any who were involved in the day in any way. The Churchwardens and Linda Bryant along with her family and team deserve especial thanks.

We would also like to thank you for a very beautiful picture of the High St, which will adorn our new house. As for the generous cheque we have been completely overwhelmed by it. Thank you too for so many kind wishes and cards.

Despite the celebrations there is an inevitable air of sadness as we prepare to move up north, and away from so many friends. We trust in the Lord, and we know that we will keep in touch with many, as we have remained close to those with whom we served in the cause of the kingdom, in previous parishes.

Thank you again for the last seventeen years.

God bless you all

Clive and Cyn.
